What is included in each venue package?
The Valentine offers three packages: Foundations, Gold and Platinum. The Foundations Package covers the venue rental with tables and chairs, and the Gold and Platinum experiences add design and decor. Request our pricing pamphlet on the packages page for the full list of what each one includes.
Is The Valentine an all inclusive venue?
Not fully. Decor can be included through our design packages, but catering and bartending are not offered in house. Our open vendor policy lets you bring the caterer and the licensed and insured bartender you prefer, and we can share our preferred vendor list.
How long can my event run, and how late can it go?
Our packages offer 7, 8 and 10 hour rental periods, and a full day rental is 12 hours. Setup starts at the beginning of your rental time, and the latest closing time is 1 AM.
Are tables and chairs included with the venue rental?
Yes. Tables and chairs are included with the venue rental. Request our pricing pamphlet for the current list of tables, chairs and add ons.
Do you offer weekday discounts?
Yes. Weekday discounts are available Monday through Thursday on The Foundations Package. Contact us with your date for current weekday pricing.
How do the deposit and payments work?
Your date is reserved with 40% of your total package price, and payment plans are available. A refundable $400 security deposit is also required. One reschedule is permitted up to 21 days before your event.

Food, Drinks and Vendors
Catering, alcohol, music and insurance rules for your vendors.
Can I bring my own caterer or a food truck?
Yes. We have an open vendor policy, so you can use the caterer of your choice, and food trucks are welcome. A licensed and insured caterer is preferred. If your vendor is not licensed and insured, day of event insurance is required through our partner Vensura. We can also share our preferred vendor list.
Is there a kitchen at the venue?
Yes. A kitchen prep room is available on site for food preparation and light food handling. Stove use and cooking are not allowed. Leftover food and beverages must be taken with you or thrown away after the event.
Can we serve alcohol at our event?
Yes. Alcohol must be served by a licensed and insured bartender, with documentation submitted no later than 14 days before your event. There is no corkage fee. Your bartender will guide you on purchasing the alcohol, and we can recommend bartenders from our vendor list.
Can I bring a DJ or a live band?
Yes. DJs and live bands are welcome. The venue provides a Bluetooth speaker. Subwoofers are not allowed, and microphones are not provided.
Do I need event insurance?
It depends on the vendor. Bartenders must always be licensed and insured. For caterers and food vendors, licensed and insured is preferred. If a food vendor is not insured, day of event insurance is required through our partner Vensura.

Can I bring my own decorations?
Yes. You can bring your own decorations, rent pieces from our decor catalog or choose a Gold or Platinum design experience. The Foundations Package includes the venue, tables and chairs, while Gold and Platinum add decor options.
What decorations are not allowed?
Nothing may be attached to the walls, including tape, nails and adhesives. Glitter, confetti, silly string and fog machines are not allowed. Candles must be fully enclosed in floating or hurricane glass. Flower petals are welcome, and balloon spray requires a drop cloth.
What lighting does the venue have?
The room has seven chandeliers, recessed lighting, four color changing track lights and a branded The Valentine sign.
What audio and WiFi equipment does the venue have?
The venue has WiFi and a Bluetooth speaker. Microphones are not provided, and subwoofers are not allowed. DJs and live bands are welcome.

Is parking available, and are there hotels nearby?
Yes. Free parking is available on site, and rideshares such as Uber and Lyft have easy access to the venue. For guests from out of town, the Hilton Garden Inn Winter Park is nearby.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The Valentine is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate elderly guests and guests with disabilities.
How do I schedule a tour of the venue?
Tours are by appointment only, Monday through Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM, and usually last 10 to 30 minutes. You can bring friends and family or request a virtual walk through.
